Heading downtown to watch the game tonight? Stop by Rock Bottom Brewery’s Dine to Donate for great food, drinks and benefit Little Red Door!

Our friends at Rock Bottom are donating 10% of your receipt tonight or tomorrow night to help raise funds for the medically underserved residents of central Indiana. In addition, a portion of all Raccon Red Ale sales from now until the end of October will be donated to Little Red Door as well!

Little Red Door is thrilled to be partnered with Rock Bottom Brewery this month to help our clients make the most of life and the least of cancer.

WHEN: October 24 – October 27

WHERE: Rock Bottom Brewery is located at 10 West Washington Indianapolis, IN 46204

WHY:

Little Red Door provides a variety of services for those dealing with cancer, including transportation to and from treatment, our breast cancer assistance program, nutritional supplements, medical supplies, complementary therapies, client navigation, and a camp for children with cancer.

In 2016, a focus area for Little Red Door has been our Transportation Program. This program helps to remove barriers for those people in active cancer treatment. In 2015, Little Red Door provided 12,230 trips to cancer treatment for our clients. There are approximately 3,968 new cases of cancer diagnosed each year in Marion County, and Little Red Door is continually identifying new cancer patients in need of transportation services. The demand for our transportation program remains very high. In 2015 our transportation program increased the number of trips by more than 20% over 2014. Our transportation program not only includes rides from cab drivers to and from cancer treatment, but also gas cards and bus passes. This allows us to serve individuals in ways that best fit their need.

If you are interested in supporting our Transportation Program, or any of our other programs, please join us at Rock Bottom Brewery this month! If you have any questions leading up to the two events, please contact Katie Spungen at KSpungen@littlereddoor.org.
