"I truly don't know how to ever begin to thank you for your payment for my breast biopsy. I am a single parent that lost my job in July 2011 and I am currently still looking for work everyday. When I was told that I needed the biopsy, I had no idea how I would pay for it. And since my Aunt had a mastectomy, I have always had my annual & follow up mammograms. Thank God, I was told to call Little Red Door! There really are angels out there to help out. I thank God for you everyday! I know of donors that I've told how you helped me out-they were so pleased to see it helped someone they knew." Debra
"Eight years ago, the Little Red Door helped me to overcome my fight with breast cancer. I was only 38 years old and thought my life was over. I have come a long way. Over the last eight years, I have adopted a child, received a MSW degree and currently serve in the capacity of Director for a public service agency. I give to the Little Red Door through payroll deductions each month because I know they care about what happens to people. The Little Red Door is my hero. I thank God for the Little Red Door!"

"I wanted to thank everyone who works at Little Red Door who has helped me out a lot with getting what I needed when I was loosing my hair last year when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at age 36 and was going through chemo. I felt so comfortable being there and having my sister there also to help me pick out my wig. It was a hard time in my life, but they seemed to help. Then when my sister found a lump in her breast this year they helped her get to a doctor and get tested for Breast Cancer. I have had an interview with Fox 59 at Little Red Door and was proud to show the world what an amazing place and group of people work there. Today I am Cancer free and I still stay in contact with Little Red Door, they have become part of my family. A Great Big Thanks To Everyone."

"Thank you for making it possible for me to have a mammogram screening. I was concerned that since I was downsized from my job, that I would not be able to afford one this year. Thank you for easing me of this burden at this challenging time of my life. I thank the Lord for your organization and give Him further praise for the favorable results of my mammogram. Thanks for all you do to fight the dreaded, life-threatening disease of cancer! May God bless you, your organization, and the work you do to help others."

"Thank you so much for paying for my mammogram this year. It has been really difficult being unemployed and underemployed for several years now and no insurance. It is a great relief to have that done and everything looked good. Thanks again!"

"As I get ready this morning to meet the surgeon and have a biopsy that may change my life forever I am still just in awe of how God has blessed me this past week. You and your graciousness were the beginning of it all! When the care center said they could not take me because I had no insurance, the fear I felt literally froze me in my tracks! Within moments, God used you to open doors I did not know existed! I cannot thank you enough! I don’t know what God has planned for me down the road but I know no matter what, I am in the hands of my loving and powerful Father. I also know that Little Red Door is now a permanent part of my life-whether I get a report of nothing or something. I am so touched by the sacrifices of so many who have provided an agency like this that can make something as daunting as the prospect of cancer and make it just a bit more manageable. I do taxes and bookkeeping for a living so I am at the beginning of my crazy season but as soon as things slow down for me I hope you can find some room for me to help at Little Red Door! Thank you, again!!! May God bless you mightily!"

"Please accept my sincere gratitude for your kindness during this time of fear and hardship. Your help has made my difficult situation a bit easier to bear. Instead of being burdened by cares of day-to-day existence, I can now focus on survival and recovery. You have my promise that when I possibly am able to, I will vow to help someone less fortunate than myself and therefore touch their life as you have now touched mine. Again, many thanks."
"When I was a little girl I played at my mother’s feet while she and other women in her church circle made bandages for Little Red Door’s cancer patients. Forty-some years later I needed financial help and Little Red Door did far more than I could have ever asked, and provided relief at such a stressful time. I am thankful for what you do at your agency, for your gracious staff, and for all the people who have given in some way over the years. Thank you. Thank you."
"What a 180 degree turn this summer has been compared to last summer! Last summer at this time, my husband and I were preparing our daughter for the possibility that her brain tumor was terminal. I still get tearful when I recall that day when we were told our child would probably be dead in 9-12 months. One year later our daughter is a walking, talking, energetic, loving girl! We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we are sure enjoying our todays! Thanks for helping to make this a great summer for her. She loved camp!"
"My cousin died this year from her ovarian cancer. When she first started losing her hair from the chemotherapy, we came down to see you and you fixed her up with a couple of really nice wigs and it really made her feel better about herself. Her family and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the good you do for people when they need help the most. I talked with the family and we would like to give all her wigs to you so you can do the same for more people at the lowest time of their lives. Some of them haven’t even been used and are still in the bags with tags. I hope you can find them all good homes. May God bless all of you for your kindness and the wonderful work you do."
"I am a terminal cancer patient who is unable to drive and has to rely on your transport services. It was not easy for me to ask for help as I have always been very independent as a single parent and always able to do for myself. I am now reduced to having to have help. The first time your driver came to pick me up I was embarrassed and ashamed that he had to help me. He put my feelings at ease right away, he was so kind and let me know right away I was not imposing. Since then I have had two different drivers and found the same treatment from both men. They both made sure I got to and from the door both picking me up and bringing me home. And I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes which means a lot when you’ve first had chemo or radiation and are sick or just don’t feel good. Both men went over and above expectations and please let them know people like them make a sometimes bad day, better. Thanks to your kind and helpful drivers."
"Recently I contacted you when my doctor found a cyst in my breast. I was very scared that the cyst was cancerous. On top of being overwhelmed with fear, I knew that our income was not sufficient enough to pay for a mammogram and/or ultrasound. After making several phone calls someone told me about your organization. At the time I wasn’t familiar with your services. After speaking to one of your staff members about our financial situation, I qualified for financial assistance. Little Red Door offered to pay for the tests that I needed, and I scheduled my appointment for the following day. Just knowing that I was going to be OK meant more to my husband and I than words could describe. I am writing you today to sincerely thank you for helping us through this frightening situation. I have all the respect in the world for you, and hope that you can continue to make a difference in people’s lives."
"I just wanted to write you a little note of thanks. Your agency recently enabled me to have a mammogram that I otherwise couldn’t afford. I had a scare, but all turned out well. During this time however, my eyes were opened to how much Little Red Door does for people like me. As I sat in the clinic waiting room waiting for my mammogram results, I watched people come and go. A lot left crying my heart went out to those people. When it was my turn to leave, I felt guilty to be happy because my biopsy was negative. But it could have been different. I could have had a malignancy and never known because I wouldhave never had that first mammogram if it weren’t for you. I never thought much about agencies like yours until now. This has been such a growing experience for me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work. If I can help in any way, please let me know."
