Basic Hatha Yoga

Basic gentle hatha yoga- Gentle, beginner yoga poses, with no flow in between poses. A slower-paced class that focuses on the foundational yoga poses on the mat, including the basic sun salutation. Class includes Pranayama (breathing practices), relaxation, and meditation. Students should be able to practice on the mat or standing, without the main support of the chair.
Little Red Door offers free therapeutic massage and yoga classes for cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers through our Door to Wellness program every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm. These services are provided by massage therapists and yoga instructors who are trained to work with cancer patients and can tailor services to meet your unique needs. In addition to the benefits listed above, you will also enjoy being able to interact with other cancer survivors and caregivers who can relate to your cancer experience.
